Omiš is picturesqe town with a true Mediteranean atmosphere situaed at mouth of the river Cetina. This town is host to the famous Festival of Dalmatian choirs (klapa). Thanks to its exellent position, sorrounded with steep rocky mountain cliffs, the river Cetina and the Adriatic sea, creates a rare and wonderful impresive landscape, so that sports like rafting on the stream of Cetina, free mountain climbing, windsurfing and volleyball have become an atractive parts of the touristic offer. In town are also placed post office, summer movies, marcet and lot of little shops.

100 km south from Omis is places Medugorje.
